David Farrell is one of Scotland's foremost broadcasters, currently hosting Heart Scotland's drivetime radio show every weekday from 4 - 7pm and on TV, presenting BBC Scotland's weekly entertainment news TV show, The Edit. 

 

With an impressive back catalogue including hosting STV's daily magazine show 'Live At Five', Edinburgh Festival coverage, appearances on Canadian TV and even the X Factor. David has twice been awarded the coveted Sony Radio Award for his presenting skills both on the radio and at festivals such as T in the Park as well as an RTS Scotland Award. David has accrued a loyal fan base over the years, including high-profile celebrities such as Calvin Harris & Olly Murs, thanks to his quick wit, charm and genuine interest in others. 

 

David has cemented his place as one of the up and coming TV presenters of the year. David is involved in a multitude of programmes with STV and other production companies and is fast becoming one of the most well-known faces throughout Scotland. With such a diverse back catalogue, David is one of the few presenters willing to tackle any project, big or small.  

 

To add to his many talents, David is also a distinguished voiceover artist. From advertising campaigns to corporate productions and eLearning tools, David specialises in lending his voice to a wide variety of projects. With his warm and friendly tone, David’s voice is a popular choice for podcast audio recordings, animations, video audio and narration, IVR’s and computer games. With years of experience on the radio to perfect his skills, David is a true professional with a real passion for work. 

 

Heavily involved in a range of charities, including Beatson Cancer Charity, Marie Curie, Erskine and many more. From hosting lunches to Charity Dinners and taking on a variety of challenges for great causes, David is a great ambassador for your charity.
